Garden

It has been so fun to have a garden! It is so cool to watch everything grow and produce. We found tomatoe worms and had some sort of other little critter chewing holes in leaves but got those taken care of pretty quick and it has been pretty smooth sailing. It looks like a jungle at this point!

Our peas were doing great then all of the sudden just dried up and died. We luckily were able to eat a few dozen before they died off.

We planted romaine and some other sort of lettuce and they both looked AMAZING! We harvested some of it, washed it off, and were excited to make a big salad for dinner. Rich was done washing it all and tasted the lettuce and got a weird look on his face then had me taste it and it was DISGUSTING!! It sure looked perfect but was just awful and so so bitter. I had to spit my one mouthful out and we threw the rest away. We've had lots of brocoli, peppers, beans and a few good tomatoes so far.
