It started out with a drive down to Cincinnati Friday night for a Reds game. We dropped Brady off at Rich's parents house and then made the 1.5 hour drive to Cincinnati. We stopped by the IKEA there and got a few small things then headed to the ball park.
The game was pretty standard until the top of the 9th inning when the Dodgers were down by 2 with bases loaded, 2 outs, and Manny Ramirez up to bat. Bummer for them that he stuck out looking! It was Firework Friday so after the game they had a 20 min firework show. So that was really fun!
We picked up Brady and got home at 2 am! Then it was up and at em fairly early to be at the stake softball tourney at 9 am. We had a ton of fun being outside all day and playing softball. We both got a little sunburn also. But - I needed a little color so it was a good thing :)
We got home about 3pm and were so tired! That evening at 7 pm a bunch of younger couples from our ward came over to play games and get to know each other. It turned out to be really fun!
On Sunday Rich was gone most of the day after church with home teaching and meetings. It was definitely a busier weekend than we are used to but it was a lot of fun! Sorry no pictures.. next time!
