The most exciting thing we do is.........

The most exciting thing that we are doing is our intramural sports! We are playing mixed doubles this semester! We had our first tournament game on Tuesday. We killed the other team. The tennis intramurals are set up in tournament format, so it is double elimination. So before we actually played we had to show up for an hour 'practice' session where these 2 'judges' wachted us for a little bit and then they ranked us to put us in a division where we would play people close to our level.

However, I don't think they watched us very closely becaue the rankings came out and we were put in the very last division!! 5th out of 5th, so we were a little suprised, but our goal is to win our division (with all of the BAD people) and get one of those cool "INTRAMURAL CHAMPION" shirts! Anyways, we killed the team 8-0 and they only won 5 points the entire time. We hope the competition gets a little better so it is a little bit more fun.

We are also playing intertube waterpolo with Liz's sister Alisa and their extended family. We missed the first game but are really excited for the next one. Richie is also doing Basketball, so he has a very busy intramural schedule. So, there was a guy on BYU's basketball team who got kicked off because he got a DUI, about a week after this happened Richie was playing pick up ball with him and a bunch of guys and asked him if he wanted to be on Richie's intramural team. The kid was like yeah sure. So that was funny, and they were all really excited because this kid was really good. But... the day before the first intramural game the guy called and told Rich that he wasn't allowed to play any intramural sports because he broke the honor code. The team was bummed but they still won their first game 74-18.

Anyways, life is good.
